In the short term, I will continue to offer full custom builds to fill out my production orders. These ideas are limited only by your imagination, available hardware & electronics, and the practical limits of construction & function. Please keep in mind that “the sky’s the limit” designs may have “the sky’s the limit” prices.

Many hours of time & expertise are invested into a fully customized instrument concept. Therefore, the consultation process on full custom designs is limited prior to a deposit being paid. Up to two (2) digital mockups of the requested design are provided free of charge. While the instrument design may be much further refined after a deposit has been paid, these two mockups serve to limit investment of time & demonstrate to you, the client, whether what you are seeking in an instrument can be delivered upon.

Full custom work is subject to a $500.00CAD/USD surcharge. This is used to cover design work and any templating or CNC programming that needs to be done. ExceptionaIly complex designs may be subject to a further increase in surcharge.

All options from the price lists are available on custom instruments and are generally priced the same, though this may increase for exceptionally complex designs. You can find 2024 Price Lists in the dropdown menu here.

Cloned instruments of another builder or company, regardless of whether it is protected by copyright or trademark, will not be considered. Inspiration that is “similar or derived from” an existing design may influence a custom build, at the builders discretion. In this case, the design will need to be sufficiently distinct that it can be reasonably identified as not being that design, and again, at the builders discretion.

No logo or insignia to which the rights are owned by another party will be placed upon any instrument built by St. Germaine® Custom Guitars. Exceptions to this include the obvious logos & insignias already present on some of components.
